Salam, this particular episode stood out to me when I scroll his many podcast list. cause I really need it obviously. It was short but so impactful. Dr Yasir Qadhi has always been one of my favorite to listen to because of his firmness, and direct way of da'wah. His way of speaking is also very eloquent that it's very engaging yet easy to listen to.

Sources of anger
- we have ego and not humbled and meek
- we gave superior to our thoughts only
- we have our own pride
Allah told us to walk in earth with humility. Humility relates well with control anger
If we are humble with Allah, we wont care about what people say, we will not care if we're wrong, we're small anyway in the eyes of Allah.
Ways to control your anger
Ways to control your anger
1. Eliminate your ego.
2. Eliminate vulgar vocabularies on your tongue - its not the best Muslim to use bad words
Musyrik - one of them is when they're angry they use curse words.
Control it. There are so many evil consequences to it.
3. Eliminate argumentation - leave it be.
Rasulullah saw said "I promise a house in Jannah to the one who give up arguments even when you have Haqq" - even if you're right. Let it be.
4. Don't open your mouth - don't express your anger. '
"When one of you gets angry, be quiet" -Rasulullah saw.
"Those who conceal their anger, is strong"
Rasulullah saw cover his anger with a smile. But His smile when he's angry is different. He doesnt frown but smile a different smile. Subhanallah.
- Say Aauuzubillah (the full one)
- Make wudhu
- Pray 2 rakaat
- change your position (Sit, lay down, etc)
- calm down,
- Don't speak in the state of anger.
Controlling our anger will protect us from the anger of Allah swt.
Don't offend people unjusticely.
Careful of what you say. Words can cause more harm to somebody than a physical pain.
