The hustle and bustle of Seoul

i honestly feel like giving up writing for seoul but i have readers outside telling me they actually read haha thank you :b

Day 5 was not much; I will combine it with day 6. 

We packed for seoul and we had to leave early bcs our flight was at 11. The weather, of course was nice when we’re leaving. ah, i will really miss Jeju. I recommend you to go to see Jeju without snow. (Jeju is better than Seoul) Eventhough snow is, beautiful but Jeju is 100times prettier without it.

We really dont want to go to back to seoul honestly because we’re afraid of the cold and the hustle and bustle of the city.

Here’s the thing: I love Seoul only when I go there alone, not when I have other 6 people at the back that I just worry about all the time if they’re exhausted. As i expected, they hated seoul. I am okay because I myself am a very ppali ppali (fast) person so i blend well and i literally am enjoying it. 

anyway. 

alhamdulillah, we arrived seoul, searched for our next airbnb, get our luggages back, and just rested until dinner. Our house this time was bigger than the first one but its dirty and smelly. Nope never gonna go there again. But i love the location bcs its near to kyobo (korea’s MPH) i can walk there. While theyre resting, I went to the bookstore and I met my friend (she was so nice btw). I love the bookstore, it was the smaller branch so there werent many people so +3 points 

veeeeery near to the bookstore i love it. this is not yet the bookstore but its the station near it. ikr!

We had dinner at 뜻밖에 양꼬치 (not recommended) (but mama and my aunt belanja so it was scrumptious, thank you!) and that was it for day 5. 

for day 6, I actually planned to bring them to wolmido which is kinda like a seaside theme park tourists dont know but many locals go, and theres this famous disco pang pang thing that i really want to see. (not ride) but suprise suprise, going against our itinerary was our new thing there. We thought it was too far and who’s gonna ride all those things in the cold? no one yea exactly so we didnt go there. 

Instead, we went to the palace! mama and my sister rent the hanbok and we stroll around the palace. it was beautiful, theres a lot of tourists, which i dont mind (🥱) #homesick. meeting malaysians was such a nice cure for our homesickness.

The weather was suprisingly not cold and just nice. Actually we slept through the falling snow (isnt that romantic), and woke up with full of snow outside. This time! THIS TIME….my mom and my aunt decided to just ride taxi everywhere. Haha. Its quite expensive but im okay as long as diorang tak penat. 

And then we went to buchon hanok village (그나마) there was nothing tbh you can skip this place. And then we straight away went to Kampung ku restaurant in myeondong to pray and for dinner. The surau was nice, we had a little rest waiting for maghrib. 

YES, we do take a lot of rest.

and we had our dinner downstairs. It was great, i think this is my favourite out of every place we ate in. The staffs were friendly too cause, guess what, theyre malaysians. i love malaysia #tibe

mama and aunt went back to airbnb after a few walks around myeondong, they certainly hate it. Its for the youngs. The boys went their way. We continue our shopping at Olive young and thats the only shop I went to. honestly, i just followed my sister, youre buying this? okay. youre buying this makeup? okay me too. which one should i buy? which one’s the best? my skincare- makeup enthusiasts sister knows everything. I dont have the heart to buy anything else plus its cold and crowded. just leave me in the bookstore please. 

Went home and took a rest! Winter really does take your energy away. Whose idea was this?! 

ps: subhanallah how Allah make the night longer than the day in winter. Allah said, night is for you to rest and the day is when you need to go out to find rezeki. only Allah knows how tiring winter is, how people just want to be at home and rest. Alhamdulillah
